Would it be elitism to say that A Condition Of Our Parole isn't "fringy" enough?
Certainly the show, put on by The Cowards - Mark (Slasher) Richardson and Dave (The Gouger) Pearce - is very funny but it feels more like the sort of standup act that would be at home on the main stage at Old Market Square than in it's own venue.
Still, for some very clever sketch comedy such as Haikuman and the Royal Shakespeare Company's Salute to James Brown, A Condition Of Our Parole delivers some big laughs.
