Bizarre Love Note From Comedy Duo

It reads like a mash note from a deranged stalker.
"How I want to have sex with the ladies who read the news/I want to sip champagne from Suhana Meharchand's shoes/Dawna Friesen and Lisa Laflamme, the whole CTV crew... They make me so horny I just want to pounce/Especially the ones whose names are hard to pronounce/Tina Srobotnjac, she drives me wild/I want Joanne Sefanyk to have my love child."
It's actually lyrics to Ladies Who Read The News, a song by The Cowards -- a.k.a. Dave Pearce and Mark Richardson, impresarios of the Duos & Donuts comedy duo showcase going on at Second City through Saturday.
True to their hearts, they sent copies of their CD to all newsreaders mentioned - Only one responded. The others probably passed the CD on to station security. CBC's Suhana Meharchand RSVP'ed for last night's performance and said she'd be bringing a shoe.
